Was operating flight QR908 Doha to Sydney on 26 April but a technical issue required it to divert to Perth at 12:54pm, when it was over the Gibson Desert, 480 km east of Newman. The aircraft arrived at Perth at 2:35pm on 26 April and stayed overnight.
It is seen here departing Perth as QR908D (for delayed) at 4:18pm on runway 03, to continue to Sydney. It later departed Sydney bound for Doha as QR909D, but again had to divert, to Bangkok.

This aircraft was built in 1974 and registered N5334M with Swearingen. It was delivered to Jim Walter Corporation as N511S in August 1976 and later N511M. Sold in Canada as C-CPCL with Soundair in 1980 and converted to cargo configuration by the 1980s. Later owned by Air Dorval and Perimeter Airlines.
Sold in February 2016 to Air Leasing and operated in Vanuatu by Air Taxi Vanuatu for South Pacific Air Ambulance, registered YJ-AL4 and was converted to an air ambulance. It still wears these markings.
Registered VH-FUM on 11 December 2018, and delivered Port Vila (Vanuatu) – Brisbane – Ceduna – Jandakot on 29-30 January 2019.
