Flight SQ231 from Singapore to Sydney was approximately 324 kilometres north of Karratha when it diverted to Perth, due to a medical emergency with a 70-year old male passenger. The aircraft landed on runway 21 at 6:20am, and parked at bay 151 at 6:27am, where an ambulance met the aircraft airside to take the passenger to hospital.
