CHC Helicopter commences offshore helicopter services contract in Northwest

CHC Helicopter commenced a five-year contract in July 2019, providing Woodside, Jadestone Energy, Vermilion Energy and BHP with passenger transfer flights, medical evacuation and search and rescue services from Karratha, Onslow and Learmonth in the northwest of Western Australia.

Two Leonardo AW139 and two Leonardo AW189 helicopters are used on the shared services contract, which covers more than 10 daily flights, with about 100,000 passengers a year to be transported, mostly for Woodside.

CHC has been operating to the North West Shelf since March 2011.
