Air Mauritius today (2 November 2022) resumed services from Mauritius, with Airbus A330-900neo 3B-NBU operating flight MK440 / MK441.
The airline had operated twice per week between Perth and Mauritius, using Airbus A330-200s and occasionally the A330-900neo.
COVID-19 travel restrictions were imposed and the service was temporarily suspended on 22 March 2020, with the final service operated by A330-200 3B-NBM.
Air Mauritius then operated two COVID-19 repatriation flights to return people to their home countries, on 6 June 2020 (3B-NBL Airbus A330-200) and 28 August 2020 (3B-NBQ Airbus A350-900 – the first visit by an Air Mauritius A350).
