Terminal 1 Observation Deck , Perth Airport, Western Australia – 5 March 2022. The Observation Deck is sadly now half its original size. The closed-off area to the east is now the Aspire Lounge. The Observation Deck has a screen showing departure information and another showing FlightRadar 24 for Western Australia, so you can see aircraft flying inn the area. On the right are a stained glass window depicting the history of flight and a statue of Australian aviation pioneer Sir Norman Brearley, who started Australia’s first scheduled air service in 1921 (before Qantas).
