VH-YID Boeing 737-8FE (MSN 38709/3851) of Virgin Australia, with Virgin Samoa titles, named ‘Tapu’itea’, at Perth Airport – Sun 5 June 2016. Virgin Samoa, formerly Polynesian Blue, flies between Samoa, Australia and New Zealand. It is jointly owned by Virgin Australia Holdings and the Government of Samoa. Only one Virgin Australia aircraft wears this livery, which features traditional Samoan tattoos on the engines, designed by Tuifa’asisina Tolouena Sua.
