I have recently lost my photos of an Ansett accident in Perth in the early 90s. My hard drive failed and my backups were not only over a year old but on CDs and, unknown to me, damaged by fungus between the layers – I problem I now find is common in the tropics.
The accident involved an A320 being towed and a galley service truck which was parked at the RH rear door. Because the aircraft had no passengers on board it did not have to be reported to the ATSB even though the tailplane was destroyed.
There were over a dozen photos of the aircraft and the galley service truck.
Does anyone have copies of these?
Regards
Monty
