On its way to fight massive bush fires in the Perth hills at Gidgegannup and Brigadoon, which destroyed 86 homes. It can carry can carry 15,150 litres of fire retardant, while carrying 72 passengers or firefighters. The aircraft temporarily redeployed from RAAF Base Richmond to Busselton on the night of 3 February 2021 and today it went into action.
