LY-LEO Airbus A330-302 of Getjet Airlines, over the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia – 25 February 2022.
Flight GW724 to Delhi, climbing after take-off from Perth Airport’s runway 21 at 7:33am, with the moon visible at upper right. Arrived as GW723 from Hong Kong in the early hours of the morning on a freight only flight, delivering COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test kits to Perth – this was its third and final visit to Perth and its last revenue service with Getjet.
The aircraft was originally delivered in 2006 to China Airlines as B-18312. In January 2019 it was delivered to Getjet Airlines as LY-LEO, based at Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, all passenger seats were removed to allow freight to be carried. On 26 February 2022, the day after this photo, the aircraft was withdrawn from Getjet service and on 27 February 2022 was flown to Chateauroux, France and stored. On 2 May 2022, it was registered 9H-LEON and leased to Airhub Airlines. It was sub-leased to Corendon Airlines (Turkiye) from May to September 2022, then returned to Airhub Airlines.

Janto Aviation is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and was established in 2021 by Janto Group. Janto Group’s founder, Jimmy Budhijanto, a prominent figure in Indonesia’s luxury car industry and the company is named in honour of his late grandfather, Janto.

This aircraft last flew on 10 March 2020 – it departed Perth for Melbourne as VA552, but returned to Perth 54 minutes later and damaged the landing gear. The number 2 engine was also later replaced.
The leasing company wants to repair the aircraft and fly it out of Perth.
