A Boeing C-17A Globemaster III, serial number CB-8003, (MSN 50260/F259/IND3) of 81 ‘Sky Lords’ Squadron, Indian Air Force, made its first visit to Perth Airport, Western Australia on 5 May 2021.
The aircraft arrived at 5:37am as ‘IFC8921’ direct from Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad (on the outskirts of Delhi), India.
The aircraft collected five large cryogenic oxygen tanks, which were urgently needed to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic situation in India, due to their own oxygen supplies running low.
The C-17 departed to Chennai, India as ‘IFC8921’ at 1:30pm.
