Hi Marlynn,
Thanks for the compliments – our photographers all use telephoto lenses (ranging from 200mm-400mm) to capture the close-up photos – there is no camera on the runway.
It is unlikely that the unusual accidents this year have had any direct impact on passenger numbers – the global economy has more impact.

David Eyre
Hi,
My name is Marlynn Duran and I wanted to give you some feedback about your site.
I particularly like http://www.aviationwa.org.au/aircraft-photos-movements/september-2014/ because I found it interesting to see how close these photos were taken. Is there a camera on the runway that capture these action shots?
Do you find that less people are traveling by air after all of these tragic accidents this year?
