First Dash 8-Q400 aircraft for new Western Australian airline Nexus, on its delivery flight, on approach to runway 21 at 5:14pm.
Nexus was formed by Western Australian airline Aviair. It commenced services from 10 July 2023 between Geraldton – Perth; Geraldton- Karratha – Port Hedland – Broome; and Broome – Kununurra – Darwin.
This aircraft was built in 2010 and last operated by Air Baltic in Latvia as YL-BAX. It was registered VH-8XS on 5 April 2023.
