Operating for the Australian Defence Force as ‘AUSY 73’, arriving from RAAF Amberley. One of the pilots aboard tested positive for COVID-19, so the entire crew were placed in hotel quarantine for 14 days, and the planned departure the next day was cancelled. However, on 30 September, it was confirmed that the An-124 pilot’s COVID-19 test was a false positive, so the crew was cleared to leave quarantine and the aircraft departed to Paya Lebar Air Base in Singapore the same day as ‘AUSY 73’.
This aircraft was still operating on 10 March 2022, last noted at Leipzig in Germany.

730 was displayed at RAAF Base Pearce air show on 19-20 May 2012.
