Landing on runway 03 at 16:20, using callsign "Toll Freight 15" from the Cocos Islands, which are located far off the northwest coast of Western Australia.

This aircraft was originally configured as a passenger aircraft, and was originally delivered to US Air as N389AU on 1 February 1998. It was later reregistered on 11 November 1998 as N520AU.

After conversion to freighter configuration, it was delivered to Toll Priority on 30 November 2007.

This service is to cease from 16 August 2012.

This aircraft was only recently registered in Australia, on 1 May 2012.

The WACO YMF is a modified version of the 1930s vintage WACO YMF, built to meet current FAA standards.

This aircraft was one of a few taking part in a "Downunder Fly Tour" organised by Wings Over Asia. It is seen here departing to Ayers Rock.

N1222G flew a slightly different route and schedule, part of which was:

N1222G was built in 2006.

The Columbia 350 is a factory-produced derivative of the Lancair ES kitplane. The model number LC42-550FG stands for Lancair Certified, Model 42, Continental 550 engine, Fixed Gear.

These aircraft were assembled by Columbia Aircraft at Bend, Oregon, until the company was acquired by Cessna in 2007. The type is now produced as the Cessna 350 Corvalis.

C-GSGA Cessna 208B Grand Caravan (cn 208B1228, ex N1084N), owned by Sander Geophysics Limited (Canada)

This aircraft was flown from Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) to Cairns, Queensland on 1 November 2011. It later moved to Latrobe Valley, Victoria. It first arrived at Jandakot on 16 December 2011, and has been based in WA since then.

When it first arrived, the aircraft had a magnetometer "stinger" boom attached under the tail. These are used for geophysical surveys, detecting variations in the Earth's magnetic field caused by mineral bodies. The magnetometer has since been removed, and is visible inside the rear of the cabin.

The Cessna 162 Skycatcher is assembled by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation in China, and shipped to the USA for final assembly

VH-OCM is new. It was built in China in late 2011, shipped to the USA for final assembly and registered as N6028R to Weaver Aero International Inc of Moundridge, Kansas, USA. On 17 November 2011, the US registration was cancelled as the aircraft was shipped to Australia.

It arrived at local Cessna sales agent Airflite Pty Ltd at Jandakot dismantled in a shipping container. It was registered VH-OCM on 17 January 2012, but there were some delays and it was only recently rolled out after reassembly.

All of these Grob G-115C2 aircraft are owned by China Southern West Australian Flying College Pty Ltd.

The company trains pilots for China Southern Airlines - China's largest airline, taking recruits with no flying experience and training them to multi-engine instrument-rated jet First Officers.

The fleet includes Grob G115C2 and G115D single engine trainers, leased Piper PA-44-180 Seminoles, an Embraer 500 Phenom 100 jet and a pair of Cessna 550 Citation II jets.

The college also owns and operates the Merredin aerodrome, which it has upgraded.

VH-MFN Victa Airtourer 100 (cn 58) owned by Michael Trezise-Conroy

The Airtourer was an Australian-designed aircraft developed by Dr Henry Millicer (chief aerodynamicist at Government Aircraft Factory).

Victa (an Australian company which produced lawnmowers) decided to put the type into production, and the prototype of the Airtourer first flew on 12 December 1961. The first production Airtourer 100 flew in June 1962.

VH-MFN was built in 1964.

Victa built 170 aircraft, but could not compete against cheap American aircraft (Cessnas and Pipers) which flooded the market, so Victa ceased production of the aircraft. The production rights were later sold in New Zealand.

Built in 1998, ex VH-RQI.

The Eagle 150B is a development of the Eagle X-TS and it was conceived by Western Australian inventors Neil Graham and his father Deryck Graham.

Graham Swannell and John Roncz were then engaged to design

The single-seat prototype Eagle X-P1 was a taildragger based on the Rutan Quickie and first flown in 1984.

The Eagle X-TS (Two Seat) had tricycle gear and first flew in 1988, and this was later produced and marketed as the Eagle 150.

Eagle Aircraft entered liquidation in 1989, and development slowed, so the aircraft was not certified until 1993.

Eagle Aircraft was bought by a Malaysian company and production was moved from Fremantle to Malaysia in 1999, and the type was produced by Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM).

VH-KMB Whitney DW-200 Boomerang (cn B0003) of Minovation Pty Ltd

Minovation was a launch customer for this Australian-designed trainer, which is based on the Piper Tomahawk.

The aircraft were produced by Dean Wilson Aviation at Kingaroy Airport, Queensland, between 2007 and 2011, when the company was placed into receivership.

VH-KMB was the first Boomerang delivered.

The registration KMB stands for Karl and Min's Boomerang - the owners of Minovation flying school.

Built in 2007 and registered VH-KMB on 18 December 2007.
Delivered 2 January 2008.

N42MY Grumman G-111 Albatross (cn G-464) owned by Mack McCormack (Bank of Utah as trustee)

This was the last Grumman Albatross built. A total of 418 Grumman Albatross aircraft were built between 1947 and 1961.

N42MY was built as a military Grumman UF-2 under the Military Aid Program (MAP), as the last of six ordered for the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF). For contractual purposes, it was allocated US Navy serial number 148329. It was delivered to the JMSDF on 5 May 1961, and allocated the JMSDF serial number 9056 – it also wore the US Navy serial 148329 on the rear fuselage. After 1962, it was re-designated as a Grumman HU-16D Albatross. See photo of the aircraft with the JMSDF in 1976: http://www.gonavy.jp/bbs1/img/2770.jpg

In the late 1970s/early 1980s, Grumman bought 57 ex-military Albatrosses for conversion to civil G-111 Albatross configuration, certified to conduct airline and charter operations. Around 1980, 9056/148329 was sold and registered N88999 – see 1980s photo: http://www.gonavy.jp/bbs1/img/2831.jpg .

In 1981, it was rebuilt by Grumman as a civilian G-111 Albatross, at a cost of US$1.2 million. Although Grumman thought that there was a market for 200 G-111s, only 13 were converted – 12 for Resorts International and one (this aircraft) for Conoco Oil/ Pelita Air Service. It can seat 23 but is certified to carry up to 28 people.

The aircraft was registered in Indonesia as PK-PAM with Pelita Air Service, flying on behalf of the Conoco oil company. It was based in Singapore, and used in support of offshore drilling in a 28-seat configuration.

On 6 March 1992, the aircraft was registered N26PR to Paragon Ranch, Broomfield, Colorado. By 1996, N26PR was owned by Mirabella Yachts Inc, Palm Beach, Florida – Sep 1996 photo: http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1064553/

On 21 January 2009, N42MY was registered to Sherman Aircraft Sales and advertised for sale – initially at $995,000, and later at US$795,000, based at West Palm Beach Airport, Florida, with a total of 4,433 flying hours.

In March 2012, N42MY was acquired by Australian businessman Mack McCormack, but registered to the Bank of Utah as trustee. It was flown to Salt Lake City, Utah, for inspections and repainting. It then flew to North County Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida and on 25 March 2012, it flew to the Port of Palm Beach at Lake Worth Inlet to be loaded onto the ship MV Suomigracht for transport to Australia. It was shipped to Newcastle, NSW, arriving on 20 April 2012, and was flown to Newcastle Airport. On 23 April 2012, the aircraft flew from Bankstown to Sydney Harbour, where it landed and water-taxied past the Opera House to the former flying boat base at Rose Bay, before taking off again and returning to Bankstown.

On 25-26 April 2012, it flew across to Perth Airport. On 27 April 2012, N42MY took off from Perth Airport, flew along the Swan River, and ten minutes later landed and took off in Matilda Bay. Matilda Bay was once the base for US Navy and RAAF Catalina flying boats during World War Two. N42MY then flew to Rottnest Island and landed in Thompson Bay, then took off and flew to RAAF Base Pearce.

Mr McCormack plans to base the Albatross in Broome and use the aircraft to fly tourist and charter flights in and around the Kimberley region of Western Australia, including the Horizontal Waterfalls, Montgomery Reef, Prince Region and off the coast at Rowley Shoals.

VH-BKH American Champion 8GCBC Scout (cn 483-2006) of the Department of Environment and Conservation

The Department of Environment and Conservation uses a fleet of American Champion 8GCBC Scout aircraft as fire spotter aircraft for forest patrols in the south-west of WA.

They are based at Bunbury, Dwellingup and Manjimup, and fly across areas set each day according to the forecast fire weather conditions.

The aircraft fly more hours during the hotter months (around 3,500 hours) due to the increased fire risk. They also supervise waterbombing operations in the south-west, relaying information to fire controllers regarding the fire's behaviour to assist in firefighting and ensuring the safety of fire crews.

Built in 1969 ex N13786, (VH-CUX). Registered on 5 August 1970 as VH-PFD.

On 5 Mar 2008, this aircraft was seized by Police as it had been used to smuggle drugs to Jandakot from New South Wales.

Police seized the largest ever haul of methylamphetamine in WA - 22 kg of methylamphetamine and 35,000 ecstasy tablets, worth $77 million.

The 37-year-old pilot from NSW and his 24-year-old passenger were charged with serious drug offences and bail was refused.

The news reports said police believed that the aircraft had visited WA about once a month for at least the previous six months.

It has been parked at Jandakot ever since.

This aircraft was built in December 1979, and registered N1007G.

On 30 May 1980, it was registered VH-KDQ to Kendell Airlines. It was sold to Jetcraft in 1995 and reregistered as VH-UUK on 18 October 1995. On 15 January 1997, it was reregistered VH-KGX to AJG Pty Ltd, was operated for a time by Fitzroy Aviation Queensland.

It was registered to Casair (Complete Aviation Services) on 14 August 2000.

This aircraft was built in September 1979, and registered N1015B. In October 1979, it was delivered to Stillwell Aviation in Australia.

On 20 March 1980, it was registered as VH-WGX, and over subsequent years, it served with Williams Airlines, Inter-City Airlines, Air Queensland, Bush Pilots Airways, Kendell Airlines, Robert Halpin, Avtex Air Services.

It was registered to Casair on 21 June 2006.

Casair conducts FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) operations for resources companies, freight and charter flights.

Scheduled FIFO flights include Fortnum Gold Mine (near Meekatharra) and Balfour Downs Mine (East Pilbara, between Newman and Woodie Woodie).

SIAI-Marchetti S-211 aircraft which were formerly owned by the Republic of Singapore Air Force and based at RAAF Base Pearce, north of Perth. Replaced by the Pilatus PC-21 turboprop trainer in 2008, the S-211s were trucked to Jandakot and offered for sale by IAP Group. Some have joined the Australian civil aircraft register and others have gone to Italy and the USA. Six have not yet been sold.

This aircraft was delivered to Perth on 4 June 2012 and performed its first service on 6 June 2012 from Perth to Coondewanna and return.

Since then it has operated exclusively on the Perth to Barrow Island run, taking FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) workers to Chevron's Gorgon Liquified Natural Gas project, Australia's largest resources project.

This aircraft is 16 years old, and served with Turkish Airlines and Riau Airlines (Indonesia). Ex G-6-265,
TC-THO, G-CDRK, PK-RAZ, VH-NBK.
